Want to know a cute and creative way to personalize a dorm? In 2015, at the beginning of Spring semester, there was a snow day so I decided to decorate my room with a heart made of the travel photos I had taken from studying abroad in Australia. Fortunately, I found the heart-shaped photo template on Pinterest and it’s a wonderful way to display photographs!
the break down of the heart is as follows (from the top down):
First, you’ll need 40 images printed out (I used 3 x 2 dimensions) and preferably painter’s tape.
2 rows of 2 photos
2 rows of 3 photos
Overall, there are nine rows in total. As a tip, I would start with the two rows of 7 photos in the 3rd and 4th row of the heart first and then arrange the top and bottom of the heart after.
Next, put rolled up tape behind each photo to attach it to the wall you want to put the heart on. Finally, step back from afar and rearrange the photos to your liking. Also, try to experiment with the variety of photos and colors you use.
Seriously, this is so perfect for dorms because then you won’t damage the walls. I don’t know if this has changed but when I was in college, some they could charge you for damages made to the walls of your room. So this way you get to customize to your heart’s content. ;P
Additionally, you can decorate a dorm by ordering prints that stick and re-stick like the ones from the Photage App. Use promo code:HONEYBUNNYTWEE to get $5 off your first print! In other words, I’m an ambassador for Photage so when you download the app using my referral link or use my code for the first time, you get a discount and I get credit at no additional cost to you.
How do you display photographs on your wall? If you have more interior decorating inspiration I’d love to see it!
For little sister’s last day of second grade we decided to make cute little presents for her classmates: Perler animals. I had just introduced my sister to perler beads, one of my favorite crafts when I was a kid. Of course, back then I needed my mom’s help to iron my creations so adult guidance is suggested.
Arrange the beads however you’d like onto the pre-made pegboards.
Place the fusion paper on top.
Iron on high for about 30 seconds to a minute.
Flip over the attached design which and remove the pegboard.
Finally, place fusion paper on and iron this side.
We worked really hard and diligently to finish before my sister’s last day. She designed a variety of octopi, dolphins, fish, and pets with colors and styles according to what she thought her classmates would like and I helped her iron them. Also, we wrote names on foam stars with twist ties so we could put the Perler animals into personalized bags for each of my sister’s classmates. Overall, they were a hit with her friends!

Perhaps you’ve just finished trying sprinkle lips and now you’re thinking to yourself, “Well, now what do I do with all these extra sprinkles?” Have no fear, simply add a bit of sprinkles to your pancakes for a fun twist on a breakfast classic. Above all, funfetti pancakes are a fun way to start the morning.
2 cups of Bisquick mix
1 cup of milk
1/2 cup of sprinkles
Butter or oil for the frying pan
Prepare the pancake batter
Add the sprinkles to the batter and mix well
Add a layer of butter or oil to a frying pan at about medium to medium-high heat
As soon as the pan is hot and the butter/oil is starting to slightly boil pour pancake mix in small, circular portions, flip when the bottom is golden brown, and wait until the other side is fully cooked as well before removing it from the pan and serving on a plate.
Repeat as necessary with the rest of the batter or until you are satisfied with the size of your stack of pancakes.
Finally, decorate with strawberries and whipped cream and you’re ready to serve.
I made these multi-color funfetti pancakes for my 8-year old sister and my 10-year old brother for breakfast one day before they had to go to school. Overall, it was quick, easy and they gave my siblings a sweet and delicious way to start off their school day.

Want to try a new, sweet look? Try rainbow sprinkle lips. Warning: this look can get a little messy and it’s really hard to resist licking the tasty sprinkles off. Nonpareils rainbow sprinkles are my favorite type and they would work best for trying this look. Don’t be afraid to experiment with other types of sprinkles too!
lip-gloss (any kind will do, the stickier the better)
nonpareils rainbow sprinkles
It’s really easy! Put sprinkles on a plate, apply a generous amount of lip-gloss on your lips, and place your lips on the plate of sprinkles. Finally, remove the excess sprinkles and you’re ready to go.
Obviously, this look is just for fun and won’t last very long at a party, but enjoy it while it last and at least you have a light snack ;P. This look is lip-smacking good!
