Are you struggling with depression or suicidal thoughts? I understand what you are dealing with because I was there for five years after graduation and throughout the quarantine, and there are days that I’m thinking to myself that I will never get to my ‘dream life’ but then I have to remember who I am.
And that is I am the creator of my reality; now I’m reminding you that you’re the creator of your reality.
Your life does not suck. You have a period of life-sucking and you got here through your thoughts thinking thoughts that produce sucking life.
How to Keep Going When You Think Your Life Sucks
Example; you have thoughts about homelessness, you’re going to go ape shit if your mom dies, you’re going to go back to drugs and alcohol, you can’t manage money.
These are all self-damaging thoughts and you’re not understanding that you’re God in the flesh so if you’re God in the flesh-that means you’re the creator of your reality so I would start telling my mind where I am going.
So how do you stop your life from sucking?
UNDERSTAND LIFE CAN CHANGE FOR THE POSITIVE IF YOU ALLOW IT
Things happen that you can’t change-but just like the serenity prayer states-you can only focus on the things that you can change by taking daily action toward the goals you want to create.
You can’t change the fact if someone is with someone else. You can’t change the fact that your business failed. Also, you can’t change the fact you didn’t achieve the exact body goals you wanted.
The only thing that you can change is to pick yourself up and restart again to reshape your life. I speak about this frequently throughout my signature program Confidently Healthy about changing your self-concept of not approaching life as one that sucks but one of life that is an opportunity.
GRATITUDE-WHAT CAN YOU BE GRATEFUL FOR TODAY?
Now the next thing that you need to focus on is gratitude, what can you focus on today that you’re thankful for and appreciative for?
If you have food, water, shelter, and clothes on your back you’re a lot richer than a majority of the people in the world. That doesn’t mean you won’t have new things and not to strive for new things but that will come when you are thankful and appreciative for the things you already have.
If you’re not aware of the law of attraction, more comes when you’re thankful for what you already have and be grateful for what is to come.
When I was chronically depressed and suffering from amnesia, all I could keep on saying was I am so so thankful to have my bed and my home. I am so thankful to see the trees. I’m so thankful to see the sky. I am so thankful that I have the income to save money and pay my bills.
FOCUS ON STANDARDS, HABITS, RITUALS, AND ROUTINES THAT YOU CONSISTENTLY DO EACH DAY.
The next thing that you CAN NOT skip out on are your habits, rituals, and routines of your new self concept-this are something that I heavily teach inside my program Confidently Healthy.
Your habits, rituals, and routines are the thing that will save you when you’re depressed and feel like you cannot function because this is what you’re dedicated to doing DAILY to achieve your goals.
You have to ask yourself; what does the dream person who I want to behave and do daily to maintain and grow my goal?
Then whatever it is that is what you’re going to do daily to achieve that. Remember success is a daily thing-even a Saturday and Sunday thing.
IF SOMEONE CAN HAVE IT YOU CAN ALSO HAVE IT BUT IN YOUR WAY
Let’s take the concept of money because it is easier for me to explain; if someone has $50 million dollars does that take away from my $50 million dollars? No, it doesn’t. It is still my $50 million dollars after tax.
The biggest thing I want to tell you is that if you see someone who has what you want that doesn’t mean you can’t have your version of it; who knows it might turn out better than you can imagine.
You have to clearly identify what you want so you can begin to strive for something better and remember to keep your mouth shut-haters like to hate and delay your process. Keep your MOUTH CLOSED!
LIFE CAN GET BETTER IF YOU CAN WORK FOR IT.
This goes to the last thing that I am going to give you, your life can get better if you work for it. What’s worse not imagining better and staying in that same room of yours and not moving? Or imaging something better, working on something daily, showing up taking acting being consistent and moving?
You truly never know who is watching you.
The key to manifestation and getting out of that sucky part of your life is visualization + a bit of action + a whole lot of alignment + deciding + expecting great things= manifestation.
That is how you keep going when you think your life sucks.
