For a salon-worthy look without the hefty manicure prices, nail wraps are tough to beat. They’re affordable, there are endless colors and patterns, they can be a part of a clean beauty routine, and, best of all, they can be part of a fun and easy home DIY beauty day.
How to Use Nail Wraps for an Easy DIY Manicure
To apply, start at your pinky and match a strip size to your nail bed, opting for the larger size and trimming down if you’re in between. Use tweezers to peel off the backing and place the strip with the rounded end as close as possible to the cuticle, but avoid allowing it to land on your skin. Smooth the sticker down from cuticle to tip, stretching as you go, crease any excess over the tip of your nail, then use a nail file (first rough, then fine) to smooth out the edges. A blow dryer will help the adhesive to lock, and a layer of topcoat will give you shiny finish. For more tips on nailing this home manicure trend, take a look at the graphic below.
