I work at a computer all day and without a comfortable chair my life would be miserable. I’ve also made the move over to a stand up desk as of late that allows me to work upright every now and then to help stretch out. I also like the manual note pad and organizer. I still have notebooks on my desk for taking notes during calls. I’m old school and old. 🙂

I love notepads! Although I do most of my writing at my desk on the computer there is just something about writing your thoughts longhand that makes it seem more genuine. These are great tips for an office set up. I’m going to be doing more work at the computer now and was thinking that my office needed a bit of an upgrade, so this article came at a great time! Thanks for sharing!

I totally agree with this list! I’ve got it all, and it is absolutely essential to working productively. I can’t stand an untidy desk. Organization equals productivity, and if I find myself in a writing slump, I start cleaning. Clears not only my desk, but my mind as well.

This list contains all the basic essentials for a functional, comfortable office/space. The only thing on your list that’s missing from my dedicated office area, is a printer. I’ve no need for one lately, as all my work is emailed to clients or written on their platforms. I also bookmark or ‘Pocket’ all the important info I need, so there’s no need to make print outs. But, I’ll certainly add back a printer if things change.

A comfortable chair is really important as it supports our back especially for long hours of computer works. I have a very comfy computer chair at home and it is such a blessing.

I would be lost without my planner! I really need to reorganize and set up a desk area. I usually use the kitchen table or the sofa and a little TV stand–definitely not good for my back.
